And the hand to hand combat in naruto is much better than one piece but one piece action is more paced with intresting powers.

Its a general history very much accessible within a simple timeline. All in all if somebodys new to anime then definitely a person will go for a shorter completed anime. Naruto has better animation and a better storyline.
